Our company is interested in the AS9100 complete kit with the Efficient QMS database. We have a few questions:

1. Since we are a small company with less than 5 employees, will there be a lot of changes to the manuals and forms to compensate for the people that wear more then one hat?

2. Does your kit come with documented instructions?

3. Is the kit a download or are copies of the files mailed to us?

4. Is there any problem or special needs to install Efficient QMS on a WWW Server so that the database can be accessed from anywhere via the web? (We are currently running PHP and MYSQL on that server and can setup a subdomain for the QMS on that system.)

Answer: All hats are subject to the AS9100 standard - there are no exceptions when the Registrar's Auditor asks questions - all hats need to play their part from the same sheet of music.

2) Does you kit come with documented instructions?

Answer: We try to keep things as simple as possible - the orientation videos are the only resource for installation and use of eQMS - we based operation of eQMS from the perspective of today's internet Browser - if you can navigate the internet you can operate eQMS.

3) Is the kit a download or are copies of the files mailed to us?

Answer: We provide a download link via email to deliver eQMS and another link to download a Zip file that contains a few MS Word documents. The following documents are provided with the AS9100 version of eQMS:

Answer: Your setup is perfect for eQMS - we recommend installation of eQMS in a subdirectory, not a subdomain on your website, then setup a table in your MySQL database. URL links in webpages are a special editing problem when eQMS is run from a subdomain - we use relative links but a subdomain requires absolute links so a lot of editing would be required...
